Some of us are already enjoying a 42MB/sec internet speed courtesy of ntel which as far as i can tell, is one of the fastest ISP in Nigeria as of the time of publishing this post. Some states Like Lagos and the FCT Abuja are already reaping a good amount of data of their unlimited data bank while States Like PortHacourt and the rest are still yet to be blessed with this superb data speed, but for those that missed my post on where to get their own ntel sim, You quickly make a stop here to be get yourselves acquainted.
Reports reaching us confirms that ntel is set to launch their services in Ph city by the next month (July), but before then, there several things I will like us to have in mind
- ntel is currently working with some companies, to provide cheap 4G supported phones, since most 4G enabled smartphones are quite expensive.
- Once they are live in Port Harcourt, list of places where you can get your ntel sims will be made available.
- Places like Bonny, Onne will also be live.
- Not less than 150-200 sites will be deployed in PH, same amount in the FCT and about 400 already in Lagos.
The simple truth and reason is this: Abuja, Lagos and PH are major commercial cities in Nigeria and for all telecom firms, more than 40% of
their profits come from just these 3 states.
As soon as ntel launch in PH, some states will be coming on as well in which Delta state and Niger Delta region as a whole won't be left out. Also, note that the cost of subscription would still come down later.
