Google Launches Android N

Some time ago Google asked its customers to help give a name to the next Android version. There were several names by different individuals. Lot's of Android users turned and gave a suggestion of what the name they want Android N to bear such as  Neyyappam, Nutella, Nachos, Noodles, Namik  Today, Google made an official announcement of their next Android version and the code is  "Nougat."

Android 7.0 "Nougat" is an upcoming release of the Android operating system. The previous the codename was Android   and was initially made available as a developer preview on the  9th of March this year, 2016, with factory images for current Nexus devices, as well as with the new "Android Beta Program" which allows supported devices to be upgraded directly to the Android Nougat beta via over-the-air update.

Google outlines the schedule on their website and indicates the final release in August or September.
