HOW TO MAKE YOUR PC FASTER

One of the things that makes your Windows pc user experience not interesting and unsatisfactory is when your pc is hanging and is slow in  response. Personally I feel like smashing the pc on the floor when such things happens. Good news is that there several tricks which when applied, can serve as a remedy (Though these remedies might be temporal). But before I proceed, let me quickly outline to you several reasons why your pc might start to run slow.

# Your computer was running for a long time without a reboot.

# Insufficient free hard drive and Ram space

# If your browser has too many add-ons etc.

Now, Lets look on several ways we can remedy ourselves from these annoying experiences.

1. Perform a Disk Clean-up:  Disk clean up automatically delete temporary files (TEMP) occupying space on your pc. It first searches and analyzes the hard drive for files that are no longer of any use, and then removes the unnecessary files. To preform a disk clean-up, simply open the start menu and type disk cleanup and select from the available search results. Sometimes Disk cleanup may not delete all the temporary files so do this after you finish running disk clean up.
   ==>Open the Start menu and enter %temp% in the Search field. Press Enter and a Temp folder should open. You can delete all files found in this folder and if any files are in use they can be skipped.
   

2.     Disable unnecessary Auto-Start-Up Programs: For the most recent versions or windows which are windows 10 and windows 8 disabling auto start programs are very easy, compared to the earlier versions of windows which include Windows 7 and Windows Xp. To enable or disable startup programs, simply right-click on your windows Task-bar and then click on Start Task Manager

To disable auto-startup programs in Windows 7 or Windows Xp simply open your command prompt by pressing Window key + R and then type msconfig in the command box, click on the Startup tab as seen in the screenshot above. Then carefully choose the apps you don't want to auto-start on windows boot. Remember not to disable the core system software to avoid malfunctioning. Then save all changes and accept the reboot prompt. Thee changes will be applied after re-booting
