ROOT YOUR TECNO CAMON C9 HERE

Tecno Camon C9 is one of the recent smartphones that was released by is a Chinese mobile phone manufacturer, Tecno Mobile. Founded in 2006, Tecno has really come a long way in producing high, mid and low range smartphones. Their recent release, Camon C9 is a piece of beauty itself. Powered by a 64-bit Octa-Core 1.3 GHz and Mediatek  Chipset of  MT6753 and Android 6.0 Marshmallow + HiOS v1.0, It delivers breath taking pictures all in HD via 13 megapixel AF camera with LED flash and many more. I am sure that if you're an owner of Camon C9, you'd probably agree and testify with me the awesome of the device. 

It is really sad though that some fellows found it difficult to root and obtain root access on their C9, thanks to Team Hovatek, Camon niners can now enjoy root access on their device. All you have to do is to follow these simple steps and then indicate via comments if you get lost along the way, but before we proceed, there things I need from you, they are:

1. Team hovatek CWM recovery image (Download it from Here)
2.  Super SU in .zip format, (You can also download it from Here)
3. Unlocked Boot-Loader, you can use to guide HERE to get yours unlocked
4. Patience.

Now, Let's root your Camon C9

==>>  Copy the Super SU file you downloaded  earlier to both your internal storage and your external SD Card, then extract.

==>> Now copy the CWM recovery.img file into the same folder where fastboot.exe and adb.exe are located

==>> At this point, your unlocked bootlaoder will come in very handy, but if yours is not yet unlocked, follow the guides HERE to unlock it.

==>>  Make sure your device is on, then connect the device to your PC via USB and boot your device into Fastboot mode

==>>  Type this command fastboot flash recovery recovery.img and press enter when your device enters into FastBoot mode.

==>>  Now, type this command fastboot reboot  and press Enter to reboot your phone

==>>  Boot the phone into recovery mode by switching off and using Volume up button + Power button (Your phone will dispaly either clockworkmod or an Android robot lying on its back. 

==>>  I believe you will know your way in Clockworkmod recovery mode, then use the Volume up button to scroll up, Volume down button to scroll down and Power button to select. Scroll down to the option that says: Install Zip and then select it

==>>  Select Choose zip from /storage/sdcard1, then Navigate to the location where you kept the SuperSu.zip file and then select it. Then choose Yes Install SuperSU to confirm flashing process and wait for the flashing to complete

==>>  Go back to the home screen (using the back option) and select Reboot If CWM offers to help fix a missing Root, select No!!!

==>>  Once your phone reboots, confirm the root access by installing root checker and tap on verify root. You will see a screenshot like this one...
