Recently, Blackberry halted manufacturing and designing of its own phones and focusing on software instead but the rumored DTEK60 which was claimed by Blackberry is on the verge of being released.

A major retailer in Germany, (MediaMarkt), has confirmed that the phone will be available starting from tomorrow, Oct. 25 for €600, or about $660, butthe DTEK60 was spotted with a much lower price tag in the United States - Don't your hopes high yet, because it is still uncertain if the rumored October 25 release is the actual launch date of the device, or the day pre-order of the device will be made available for shipping at a later date. B&H, which before now, put a black 32GB variant of the BlackBerry DTEK60 for preorder at $499.99, has taken it down.
The DTEK60 is one of the company's smartphone to be run on Android OS, following the Priv and the DTEK50. It comes with a custom Android user interface that features BlackBerry's customizable gesture controls and the Intelligent Touch Keyboard. The DTEK60 comes with a 5.5-inch QHD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC. On the back, is a 21-mp camera shooter that supports 4K recording and on the front is an 8-mp camera with a fingerprint sensor. It comes with 32GB internal storage capacity and 3GB RAM size, and is electronically powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
