How I Rooted My Samsung Galaxy On7

Christmas has been very exciting, despite the hardships and all the tribulations, there is still reasons to rejoice and be happy. Many gave and received several gifts to one another, I received a Samsung Galaxy this December and my heart is filled with joy. So in other to explore the phone, I quickly sourced a way on how to obtain a root access with my new phone. So I reached out to my colleagues, and I got the assistance I was looking for. So I am sharing with you guys how I rooted the new device, and if you own a Galaxy phone, just follow these simple steps, and you'll have root access as well.

Samsung Galaxy On7 is a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon device that is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop or 6.0 Marshmallow. So whichever Android version your device, this method will surely work for you. First, you'll need to unlock OEM unlocking by going to Settings ----> Developer Options -----> OEM unlocking. Download TWRP Recovery File HERE, Download Super SU Here, Then install TWERP by 

1.   Boot to DOWNLOAD mode. 

2.    Then flash with ODIN in the AP slot.

3.    Uncheck Auto Reboot.

4.     Load the respective file below into the AP slot and hit start.

5.     After flashing, ODIN will say "PASS" which means that the flashing was completed successfully. Then reboot into recovery mode by holding POWER BUTTON + HOME BUTTON + VOL DOWN BUTTON. Then when the screen goes blank release the VOL DOWN BUTTON and hold the VOL UP BUTTON while still holding the other buttons. If you do this correctly, you will see TWRP recovery.

Navigate through your file browser and locate the SuperSU file you downloaded earlier, then flash. Once the flashing is complete, reboot your device and download Root Checker from PlayStore and verify your root status.
