The 2017 Mobile World Congress going on in Spain has been full of exciting news and events. To be frank, nobody still talks about the French originated global telecommunications equipment company, headquartered in Boulogne-Billancourt, Alcatel. But they made what some would call hilarious, but I call it incredible comeback this year. By unveiling the first world's LED covered smartphone.
The spectacular thing about “The world’s first interactive LED-covered smartphone, Alcatel A4”, is that the rear (back) of the phone is covered with LED lights. These LED will light up whenever you receive all sorts of notifications like phone calls, text messages, emails, even WhatsApp alerts, etc.
The LED notification lights that display at the back of the device can be customized with the help of special apps. A simple shake is enough for the phone to move on to the next pattern. There are plenty of colors and plenty of dynamism. It is strongly advised that epileptics should definitely stay away from this particular device because of the LED lights.
When it comes to notifications, the A5 LED will light up with colors that match the app pushing out alerts. If it’s Facebook, expect a blue background and an “F” to show up across the back of the phone. That changes to a green “W” for WhatsApp.
Other feature of Alcatel A5 Includes;
====>>> The Alcatel A5 spot 2GB RAM size and a 16GB internal memory which can be expanded using micro SD.
====>>> On the LED covered rear is an 8.0-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel front camera for selfies.
====>>> Measures 146.00 x 72.10 x 7.70, the Alcatel A5 is packed with a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor and is electronically powered by a non-removable Li battery that measures 2800mAh.
====>>> Alcatel A5 is a dual Nano sim phone that runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow
====>>> It also supports fingerprint sensor protection and comes with a Private Mode which lets you sign into a secure mode to hide certain apps and pictures.
====>>> If the notification lights get too annoying, you can replace the rear with a plastic one that doesn’t have any other magical powers.
The phone will be sold at a retail price of €200 which is equivalent to about $210
