Open source systems are good, I wouldn't be wrong to say that it is the best, but one significant disadvantage of Open Source is that they are mostly contributor driven. When there is a low turnout of supporters to keep the system up and running, it tends to fall sick, flunk and eventually die and that is exactly the case of Manjaro ARM. (sad)
Manjaro-ARM, the Arch Linux-based distro for embedded devices is shutting down. The sad news which will mean the closure of the open source project was disclosed by the Manjaro-arm team. As of last weekend, they’ve already stopped the support, development, bugfixes and any new releases for the Arch Linux-based distro. The bug tracker and wiki page would shut down on April 1, followed by the closure of the official website and forum on 2 months later.
The Manjaro team would assist anyone wanting to talk the Manjaro ARM project forward. If you have something to add, drop your thoughts and feedback.
