HMD Global made some serious headlines at this year's MWC. Launching several phones that run on Android 7.0 Nougat, bringing back the iconic and legendary Nokia 3310 after almost 2deades. Despite the much anticipations and speculations about Nokia 3310 being an Android phone, it later came as a feature phone which features a 2.4-inch color display and a 2MP camera, 1200mAh battery, and Nokia Series 30+ software.
Several days after the official release of Nokia 3310 2017 edition, Caviar, Russian luxury phone maker, known for making premium smartphones, has released a golden version of Nokia 3310. It is Known as Nokia 3310 Supremo Putin and is inspired by Russia’s most popular person Russian President Vladimir Putin.
It has the same name, as the official Nokia 3310 which was launched at MWC, but with a few but expensive premium customizations of its own. For instance, Nokia Supreme comes with a gold-plated portrait of President Vladimir Putin, and a gold seal with a quote from Russia’s national anthem. At the front is a gold plated button with an image of the Russian coat of arms.
Though it has the same shape and size of the official Nokia 3310, it costs 30 times higher than the official Nokia 3310, and it is already on sale at a retail price of $1690.
