Many would say Airtel is the best network in data connection and browsing, but I would personally say that the title of best network in the country is etisalat. Though Airtel has kept her subscribers waiting for a long time for introduction of 4GLTE services in Nigeria, but their data connection and speed is trully something you can always count on. And now it seems like they have decides to join other local networks in the race of 4GLTE.
This report was made public when Mr Segun Ogunsanya, The Managing Director, Airtel Nigeria, said on Saturday that the telecommunications company has rolled out Fourth Generation (4G) wireless mobile telecommunications technology in Nigeria.
Ogunsanya said in a statement in Lagos that the roll out of the technology was in partnership with ZTE, a Chinese multinational telecommunications equipment/systems company. He also added that in December, 2012, Airtel was the first telecommunications operator in the country to complete a successful 4G trial in Lagos.

The rollout of the 4GLTE technology According to Airtel NG, was in partnership with a Chinese multinational telecommunications equipment systems company, ZTE. And collaboration to roll out 4G service plan in Nigeria will dramatically improve mobile internet experience for telecommunications consumers across Nigeria.
ZTE Corporation's Regional Vice President, Mr Zhang Ruigang, said that ZTE and Airtel NIgeria would work hand-in-hand to build the first-class 4G LTE network and provide the best long term service to Airtel Nigeria. “4G LTE is a truly global mobile phone standard for advanced mobile broadband and Airtel’s 4G LTE aims to offer users faster, more reliable mobile broadband internet for devices like smart phones, tablets and laptops,” Mr Zhang Ruigang.
Just Like Glo, which currntly offers the cheapest 3G and 4GLTE data bundle service plans in the counrtry, the question now is, WIll Airtel's new 4G plans beat that of Glo?
