How to root Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 in Easy Steps

 Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is one the most beautiful smartphone with state of the art specs, that is easy to obtain root access on. Thanks to team Twerp, we were able to compile a comprehensive tutorial for you. So if you are looking on how to root your  Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, this tutorial is just for you. But first, you need to make sure you have the following prerequisites

1.    You need to unlock your Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 bootloader by following this tutorial here.

2.    You will also need ADB fastboot tool, and it can be downloaded from here

3.    Twerp recovery file which can be downloaded from here

4.    Super Su which will be used to give you root access after you have installed a custom recovery. Super Su can be downloaded from here

5.    A Windows PC and your phone must be fully charged or shouldn't be below 70%

6.    Now move all the above files you just downloaded into one folder in your PC on the desktop and name it anything you want, say "Root Xiaomi Redmi Note."

If you have all these, now you need to proceed to by flashing TWRP Custom Recovery on your mobile, after you must've followed the guide in step 1 above to unlock your Xiaomi bootloader. To install twerp recovery, do the following:

i.    Enable USB Debugging on your phone

ii.    Now open the ADM fastboot tool you downloaded to your PC in step 2 above and look for a file called "command.bat" then run it as Admin.

iii.    Once you run the command.bat file in Admin mode, it will open command prompt, then in the command prompt, type 

adb devices

adb reboot bootloader

fastboot flash recovery

iv.    Once you enter the above commands, TWRP recovery will be installed on your phone, and then you can go ahead and install Super Su and Custom Roms.

Now let's install Super Su Root Access by the doing the following

1.    Copy the Super Su file you downloaded earlier in step 4 above to your internal phone storage (do not extract)

2.    Now use the Vol.Up and power down to boot into recovery mode

3.    Once you are Twerp recovery mode, use the file system to navigate and find the SuperSu file which you transferred from your PC to your phone, then tap on it to install.

4.    With for the installation to be completed then reboot your phone.
