Microsoft recently partnered with PayPal, and one of the advantages of that partnership is that Skype users can now send and receive money to each other via Paypal whether on Android or iOS. Skype made this huge announcement in a blog post, states that the new development is still in progress and is available in 22 countries.
The new Send Money feature allows users to pay a friend from at any point from the conversation window and is only seen in the latest version of the Skype app in either iOS or Android. This development came 1 month after Google integrated Paypal to its AndroidPay. But in the case of using PayPal with your Skype account, here are a few things to note:
1. The first time you use the Send Money feature, you’ll be asked to confirm your location, then after confirmation and the Send Money with Skype feature is available in your location, you will need to link your PayPal account to your Skype profile. And then PayPal handles the money transfer process and the whole thing gets done within seconds.
2. The Send Money feature is only available in the latest version of Skype which the sender must have. But the receiver can receive payments even without the latest version.
3. If your If your friend or contact whom you want to send the money to doesn't have a Paypal account, he or she will be prompted to create one.
4. To send or receive funds, both the sender or the receiver must be in any of the 22 countries where the Send Money feature is available.
5. The currency exchange is automatically handled by Paypal. Also, If for instance, you (the sender) resides in the U.S and you’re sending to someone in Europe, you will have the option to send money in Euros
6. In order to provide the Send Money service, Skype shares the following information about you with PayPal:
✔ Your Skype profile.
✔ Your device.
✔ Your connectivity and location information.
✔ The Skype name of the person you are sending money to.
And PayPal shares the following information about you with Skype:
✔ Your full name.
✔ Your email address.
✔ Your street address, country, Zip/Post Code and phone number.
✔ The names and last 4 digits of funding sources in your PayPal account.
✔ Your PayPal balance information.
✔ Your PayPal account activity through Skype
7. For now, the send or receive money feature is only available in the following locations
✔ United States
✔ Canada
✔ United Kingdom
✔ Austria
✔ Belgium
✔ Cyprus
✔ Estonia
✔ Spain
✔ Finland
✔ France
✔ Germany
✔ Greece
✔ Ireland
✔ Italy
✔ Latvia
✔ Luxembourg
✔ Malta
✔ Netherlands
✔ Portugal
✔ San Marino
✔ Slovakia
✔ Slovenia.
8. Supported currency units are US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, British Pounds, and Euros. Additional countries and currencies will be available in the future.

Fuck paypal they suck since they neglected Nigeria we no need them they only focus on European countries...
