Earlier this year when Ivyrevel, an online fashion house backed by H&M — in partnership with Google unveiled coded corture data dress, I knew it was only a matter of time before will world will witness another massive integration of technology and fashion to produce something no one has ever seen.
And now the search engine/ mountain view tech giant Google, has partnered with Levi (American Clothing Company) to introduce a new smart jacket which will let users control their various smartphones by touching its sleeve. They call it Levi’s Commuter Trucker Jacket and it can be used to answer Calls, Play Music, Use Maps etc and it mostly meant for cyclists.

The smart jacket is an intelligent garment and interestingly, can also be washed and used like any other traditional jacket on the market. It comes with a flexible pressure label that has the circuit that enables the wireless connection with smartphones which must be removed whenever the user wants to laundry the jacket.
It has the options of alerts and notifications and accompanied with light which is played on the arrival of calls and messages. Likewise, users will be able to use these possibilities through gestures.
The smart jacket can be used to play music, play or pause music, get directions or read incoming text messages. The best part of this jacket is that the user will have the options and power to configure it as they see fit.
