In 2016, a privately owned Chinese electronics and software company headquartered in Beijing known as Xiaomi made a debut into laptop making with a product they called Mi Notebook Air. It was designed to target Apple’s MacBook both in the name and its design. This year 2017, the Chinese company is shifting its focus to Apple’s MacBook Pro, with the launch of its own Mi Notebook Pro.
The Mi Notebook Pro is a 15.6-inch display laptop (1920 x 1080 screen size) with narrow bezels. It ships Intel’s latest quad-core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of SSD storage, with Nvidia’s GeForce MX150 graphics.

Xiaomi’s Latest Laptop Mi Notebook Pro will be priced at $980 for the base model once the product is made available but it is not clear when that will be. Xiaomi previously started selling its previous laptop, Mi Notebook Air in China, so it’s likely that the sales of Notebook Pro will be limited to China first.
