In March 2105, Facebook introduced the option of transfer money in-app with a credit or debit card in its messenger app. And now, barely 3 weeks after they introduced Messenger Lite for Android, and a few days after introducing an option for ordering food services, Facebook has teamed up with a renowned money/financial institution known as PayPal to give you a new way to split the bill. You can access the feature the same way you'd pay with a card.
Simply tap the blue plus + icon in your chat window and then tap the green Payments button to bring up the two existing options. But If you'd previously set up the feature to pay using your card, just tap the Change button and choose Paypal to connect your account with Messenger.
So that is how you can send money with Facebook Messenger using PayPal and luckily, iOS users are the first to enjoy this integration and it'll soon be available on Android as well. But unfortunately, you can only use it if you're in the US and Facebook didn't say if this feature will be made available to other countries or not.
