Huawei’s latest flagship, Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro phones are here. Both models feature slim bezels, but different display resolutions and aspect ratios. The Pro version comes with few bonus features that made it superior to the ordinary version. Some of the features include an additional memory and storage space and a waterproof design of IP6 rating. The pro version lacks is a 3.5mm headphone jack but the Mate 10 (non-pro) does have one.

They are both powered by Huawei’s new is an octa-core processor (Kirin 970 chip) with 12-core graphics.

Both phones support LTE and mobile data speeds up to 1.2 Gbps.
Under the hood of both phones, you will find a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) attached to their processors. This NPU can be used for computer vision and other artificial intelligence applications. The NPU can also be used for offline language translation.

To get a perfect dual camera lens on both phones, Huawei partnered with Leica. Says that the camera system of both phones supports AI-powered bokeh-style depth effects, an “AI-powered digital zoom,” and “real-time scene and object recognition which automatically chooses camera settings based on the objects you point the camera at, and scene.”
Several connectivities supported by the phones include 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and feature USB Type-C USB ports.
Huawei also mentioned that the phones have what they call DisplayPort 1.2 functionality that lets users connect the phone to an external display for a desktop-like experience using “easy projection.”
Price and Availability of Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro
The Huawei Mate 10 launches in Europe this month for €699, while the Mate 10 Pro is coming in November for €799. The company says US and other countries pricing and availability will be announced later.
Huawei will make these phones (Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro) available in a premium model called the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10. It will be available in November at a starting price of €1395, and aside from some fancy design elements, this high-end model will have 6GB of RAM and a whopping 256GB of storage.
