Congratulations! You have been gifted FREE 1GB data, valid for 7 days, to surf the internet. Dial *449*2# to activate your offer. Deal Zone
It was, however, unfortunate that after dialing *449*2, the bonus was unable to surf the web with. Today, I am telling you that you can get the bonus on your sim, browse with it and do anything you want to do with it. All you have to do is to follow these simple steps.
1. Get your MTN sim, whether old or new sim
2. Dail *449#, then if your lucky, you will see options for both 1gb and 500mb.
3. Select any of the options as you wish, then wait for MTN to give you a reply that reads like this;
Congratulations! You have successfully activated FREE 1GB valid for 7 days. Please dial *559*4# to check data balance.
To browse the data, just on your data connection or put the sim on any internet enabled device and start using. No special settings or configurations needed
Finally, if you dial *559*4# as stated by MTN, you will be unable to see your data balance. So what you have to do is to dial *559*2# and your data balance will be displayed.
