Rumoured Features of Samsung Galaxy S9 - Face Unlock + Iris Scanner

Samsung Galaxy S9 is already making the news with rumoured specs, though the details are a handful, the new flagship has by the South Korean conglomerate is expected to come with Face unlock and an Iris Scanner which is said to be really intelligent and cannot be fooled, just like Apple's iPhone X.
Rumoured Features of Face Unlock + Iris Intelligent Scan Samsung Galaxy S9

Samsung might introduce the Galaxy S9 with an outstanding combo feature of face unlock accompanied with an iris scanner. Remnants of the feature were found in an APK teardown of an unreleased Oreo beta build. It repeatedly appeared in the code as “Intelligent Scan”.

Interestingly, the feature will employ both facial recognition and iris scanners to achieve superior results than Face ID alone. The iris scanner has been in the previous generation of Galaxy Note series phones but it remains fringe thing at best. But with face unlock it might find its rightful place as an extra layer of security in authentication.

For now, the datils about this much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S9 are scarce so there's really no solid confirmation regarding this feature and how or if it'll work but intelligent Scan will work for unlocking phones, app unlocks, and verification primarily. Here is a 6 seconds video preview of the said smartphone and its expected facial ID and Intelligent Iris Scan

Finally in my own words, I really do hope that the Galaxy S9 won't be like that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 that failed facial recognition and was easily fooled by a photo of from another phone.
